NEWS at the campsite
At Grønninghoved Strand Camping we try every year to invest in a new areas, that can help make the experience better at our campsite.
Below you can see the largest development areas that we have implemented in the last few years.
NEW MULTI-COURT
For season 2023, we dismantled our old and crooked grass pitch and instead we built a new multi-purpose pitch with artificial turf and fences.
It has been a huge plus for the campsite, as our guests can use the pitch 99% of the time for various ball games and fun. Another big plus is that it is now possible to arrange all sorts of different activities and events on the course.

NEW BEACHROAD CABINS
For season 2022, we built 5 NEW cabins, which are now called BEACHROAD CABINS.
We closed down 6 campsites and built the new cabins very centrally and with a beautiful location/view.
They are all equipped with shower, toilet and a larger kitchen with dishwasher, oven, hob, etc.
It is eqipped for 6 persons and have a very nice covered outdoor terrace.

NEW PLAYGROUND
For season 2023, we dismantled the old and worn playground at building 3 and instead we have built a brand new playground.
The new playground is primarily for smaller children. Many thoughts and ideas have been thought about it being ideal for both children, but also for adults.
We also closed down one campsite spot to make room for both the climbing tower, the pirate ship and a larger swing set.

SEA VIEW CABINS
For season 2023, we built 4 new cabins, which are now called SEA VIEW CABINS.
We have placed the new cabins very centrally and with a beautiful location / view and not least quiet area.
They are all equipped with shower, toilet and a larger kitchen with dishwasher, oven, hob, etc. They are eqipped for 4 persons and have a very nice covered outdoor terrace.

The Orangery
For season 2024, we have closed down the “old” tennis court.
Instead, we are building a nice orangery of almost 100 m2 and an outdoor dishwashing area. It is ready for the start of the 2024 season.
The orangery is furnished with a larger kitchen and with tables/seating for the campers in one half.
The other half is designed so that larger groups at the campsite when booking cabins/campsites can rent/borrow the orangery for barbecue or a shared breakfast. Expectedly, there is room for 40-50 people.
Outdoor dishwashing area with sea views
For the 2024 season, in connection with the Orangery, we also built a new outdoor dishwashing area with an associated lounge corner.
So now our campers can do their dishes while enjoying the view over the Little Belt and Funen
